Premiering on Jan 25 on HBO GO is The Gilded Age, a brand new drama series from the creator of Downtown Abbey.
The period drama is set in 1882 during the American Gilded Age, a period of immense economic change that created opportunities for huge fortunes to be made and lost.
The series follows a young woman, Marian Brook, who moves from rural Pennsylvania to New York City after the death of her father. She starts a new life with her old money aunts, Agnes van Rhijn and Ada Brook.
THE YOUNGEST SON OF A CONGLOMERATE
After making a triumphant return to the small screen with his role in K-drama Vincenzo, Hallyu heartthrob Song Joong-ki will take on yet another darker role in a new K-drama titled The Youngest Son Of A Conglomerate.
In the series, Song’s character is accused of embezzling funds by a large family-owned business conglomerate, despite his loyalty to the company. After being killed, he is reincarnated as the family’s youngest son and ultimately plans to take revenge by taking over the chaebol family. The series is expected to air this year.
