During CES 2022, Hisense confirmed a slew of new TV series for the year. Hisense’s press conference showcased a range of ULED and LED TVs, all of which will support the Google TV smart platform. The brand also revealed new TriChroma and Smart Laser TVs.
At the time of writing, Hisense has not yet confirmed individual sizes for each of the TV series or pricing, but the Chinese brand impressed last year with competitive, brilliantly bright displays and we expect more of the same for this year. Here’s everything we know about the Hisense lineup so far.
U9H Series
The U9H is Hisense’s flagship TV series for 2022. Major details about the U9H—such as available screen sizes or pricing—are still forthcoming, but we do know that the U9H is the first Hisense to bring a mini-LED backlight into the ULED line.
According to Hisense, the U9H will feature improved contrast and color compared to last year’s models, with up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness in HDR and roughly 1,280 local dimming zones for excellent contrast (though that number is likely dependent on screen size, which hasn’t been confirmed yet). The U9H TVs will boast a 120Hz refresh rate, quantum dots, and 4K resolution. We also expect them to be Dolby Vision compatible.
Right now, there’s not much else we know about this flagship display, but if the performance matches the specs, it does sound like the U9H series may be the best Hisense TV to come along so far.
U8H Series
A follow-up to last year’s U8G series—which we loved for its excellent performance at a great price—the U8H looks to keep that all-rounder success going. This time around, the U8H TVs will also feature mini-LED backlights, as well as a slew of other premium features: quantum dots, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of around 1,500 nits.
In 2021, the U8G was one of the best 4K/HDR TVs you could buy for the money, providing a ton of brightness and vivid colors for quite a bit less than the competition, so we’ll certainly be keeping an eye on the U8H in 2022. Like with the top-tier U9H, Hisense has yet to confirm pricing, availability, or screen sizes, but stay tuned for updates throughout the week.
U7H Series

The Hisense U7H is geared towards gamers
With the U7H series, Hisense appears to be aiming at bringing a great gaming TV to living rooms everywhere with features like Game Mode Pro, ALLM, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Like the U9H and U8H, the U7H TVs will also be 4K/HDR and quantum dot-equipped sets with support for features like Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and HDMI eARC.
Also like the U9H and U8H, the pricing or screen sizes available in the U7H lineup haven’t been confirmed yet. While this is the series Hisense is classifying as a great gaming option, it also seems likely that the pricier series will also support gaming features, but we’ll be updating with more info as we have it.
U6H Series

The Hisesne U6H looks to be a value-facing option in 2022
The U6H series looks to complete Hisense’s value lineup for 2022. It’s also the only series so far with a confirmed range of screen sizes, from 50 to 75 inches. You’re also purportedly getting quantum dot color, HDMI eARC, Dolby Atmos, and a 60Hz refresh rate (no 120Hz), which sounds like a fairly promising collection of features assuming that the price is right.
Hisense is also offering TVs in the form of the A7H, A6H, and A74H this year—a range of smart Google TVs from 43- up to a whopping 85-inch model that will aim to keep prices low while still providing a premium picture, but the U-series will be its hottest ticket in 2022.
We can’t say for sure how awesome the U9H is or how valuable the A7H is until we get them into the lab for testing, but Hisense trotted out some solid options last year, so our hopes are up. Stay tuned to Reviewed this week for all our CES 2022 coverage.
