Excitement is building up in a Nottingham suburb as filming work takes place on a busy highway.
It comes as a parking bay suspension has been introduced between Southey Street and Forest Road East while filming work for a TV series starring ‘Line of Duty’ favourite Vicky McClure is underway.
The disruption began on Monday (January 3) and will affect the highway until Friday (January 7) as filming will take place on Forest Road West for the new gripping drama ‘Without Sin’.
People in the area have told of their excitement, with one resident adding that it is a “quirky” filming location.
Taylor Rogers, a student who lives in Arboretum and minutes away from the soon-to-be famous highway, added: “I think that is quite cool.
“Because in most cities it is usually the city centre where the most filming happens.”

The 21-year-old added: “I do not think that this street has anything special to it – so it is quite a quirky idea.”
A mum and son living in Arboretum who were walking down on Southey Street have praised the idea.
Nurcan Tantas, 43, added: “I think it is a beautiful way to promote Nottingham and its hidden streets.
“This area has its nice spots, and so I think it is a lovely idea.”
Her son Emre Tantas, 20, went on and said: “Hyson Green is not the best place in Nottingham – but it has some nice streets.
“And I think it is a great idea.
“I am quite excited to be fair.”
