On December 22, 2021, Shilpa Shetty posted a photo featuring her sister, Shamita Shetty and father, Surendra Shetty, on the latter’s birth anniversary. Today, on January 4, Shilpa shared a beautiful wish for her father-in-law, Bal Krishna Kundra, on his 75th birthday. The actress was seen hugging her father-in-law in the picture. For the unaware, she had posted photos from the same occasion on her father-in-law’s 73rd birthday, that also featured Raj Kundra.

In July 2021, Raj Kundra was arrested by Mumbai Police Crime Branch in connection with the alleged creation and distribution of pornographic content. He was granted bail by a Mumbai court in September after over two months of arrest.
