The official teaser for the manhwa-turned-TV series “All of Us Are Dead” shows trapped students desperately trying to survive an “apocalyptic outbreak” inside their zombie-infested high school.
The teaser, released on Friday, offers a glimpse of what to expect from the TV adaptation of Joo Dong-geun’s zombie webtoon “Now at Our School, All of Us Are Dead.”
The clip starts with a Hyosan High School student calling the authorities to report the zombie outbreak inside his school. Moments after an officer accuses him of prank calling the police, two other officers receive similar calls from students about zombies at their school.
The teaser has somewhat of a similar feel to #Alive, a 2020 South Korean zombie film released on Netflix in which the main characters are trapped inside a building surrounded by the ravenous undead.
Co-directed by Lee Jae-kyu and Kim Nam-soo, “All of Us Are Dead” stars Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hoo, Cho Yi-hyun, Park Solomon and Yoo In-soo. Lee Yoo-mi, who appeared in the hit Netflix series “Squid Game” as contestant 240, is also part of the cast.
“All of Us Are Dead” is set to premiere on Netflix on Jan. 28.
